| 4 | Earthwork excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator), or manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, all kinds of foundation etc., in all types of soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling,ramming and compacting the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed,levelled and compacted at specified location) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(if water encountered during excavation , it shall be drained out by proper dewatering arrangements and power supply required for dewatering shall borne by the contractor.)Note: 1.The excavated subbase shall be tested for 95% proctor compaction density test. 2.Excavation scheme has to be submitted to department for approval of EIC before commencement of work. |

| 6 | Engineered back filling with selected earth including excavation from borrow pits with a lead upto 60 km filling in layer of not more than 300 mm, each layer well rammed and consolidated including water consolidation etc complying with standard specification. 1) Necessary permission from state authorities for bringing the required earth will be the responsibility of the contractor. 2) The quality of earth required for the work shall be got approved for borrow pits outside the property within a lead upto 60 km from EIC before supply. 3) Necessary Testing to be carried out for compaction and as directed by the Engineer all as per specification, including excavation, loading transporting, depositing in loose layers of each 300 mm thickness, after removing / breaking clods etc. watering to optimum moisture content and compacting each layer to 95 % of maximum dry density etc., all as specified and as directed by the EIC. |

| 8 | Providing and laying plain cement concrete M20 grade using 300 kg/cum of PPC, 20mm maximum size graded aggregates and washed crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications. Dosage of PCE based admixture as per workability requirment at site conditions. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility.2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/ downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F. |

| 20 | Providing, maintaining temporary barricading upto a height of 4.0 metre from the existing ground level at construction site using New G.I sheet of Gauge25 fixed to steel frame work using nut and bolts. The frame work shall be made up of suitable diameter MS pipe fixed @ of 2.5m centre to centre, inter connected using MS flats by welding. The MS pipe are to be suitably fixed in cement concrete foundation (1:4:8) 300 x 300 x 900mm. The rates shall include Earthwork excavation and PCC for foundation. The contractor shall take all measures to keep barricading in position throughout the construction period.
