| 1 | Labour charges for cleaning the existing sunshade tops, roof terraces, canopy / sunshade tops in staircases by removing the unwanted materials, debris and dry leaves etc., including removing the vegetation growth along with roots, applying suitable chemicals, plugging the holes using CM 1:3, collecting and disposing the waste materials by suitable means at places shown within 2 KM lead etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: 1) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of cleaning the common roof terrace, roof of OHT & canopy/sunshades in staircase area. 2) The work shall be carried out minimum three times per year or as and when required as directed by EIC. 3) All labours deployed for cleaning shall strictly follow the safety rules and wear PPE. |

| 17 | Trimming of tree branches, which causing hindrance to free vehicle movement, blocking street light and touching the building etc., on road sides, avenues, streets and near buildings, including cutting the branches of trees using necessary tools, collecting, transporting and disposing them at places shown by the Department using suitable vehicles, etc., all as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. | 19 | The schedule of quantities is to be read for the purpose of pricing in conjunction with the special conditions, general rules for the guidance of contractors, conditions of contract, specifications, drawings, schedule of supply of materials and the appendices. |
| 20 | The prices inserted in the schedule of quantities shall be inclusive of value of the work described including all cost and expenses, which may be required in and for the construction of the work described together with the general risks, liabilities and obligations not forth or implied in the documents on which the tender is to be based. |
| 21 | The quantities stated are to be considered approximate only and the unit prices entered in the schedule of quantities and prices shall apply only to the actual quantities measured in the completed work in accordance with the specifications. |
| 22 | All the materials other than those shown in schedule of supply of materials in section VII are to be arranged by the contractor and his rates should account for the same. |
| 23 | Rates quoted for all items in this tender shall include cost of all materials including cement and steel. Department will not supply any materials other than materials stipulated in Section - VII of the tender and as such the rates quoted must be all inclusive. |
