| 1 | Cutting & Clearing the scrub jungles, bushes, unwanted growth of vegetations etc., including removing the roots, collection, conveyance and disposal the same by mechanical means to the dumping yard as shown by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete.Note: The disposed dry material to be fired with controlled firing after getting prior approval of Engineer-in-charge. The rate including water tanker, required hose etc., complete. |
| 2 | Trimming of tree branches, which causing hindrance to free vehicle movement, blocking street light and touching the building etc., on road sides, avenues, streets and near buildings, including cutting the branches of trees using necessary tools, collecting, transporting and disposing them at places shown by the department using their own means of conveyance all as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. |

| 8 | Removal of road side blockages during rainy season and cyclonic period or as and when required by using mechanical means like JCB including clearing the road carriage way from fallen trees / tree branches, loading & unloading of trees/ branches in Vehicles for Conveying if required, etc., including cost of fuel, operator, etc., all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 9 | Conveyance of fallen trees / branches during monsoon / Cyclonic period / as and when required from road side to dumping yard within 3 km lead including cutting the fallen branches / trees, loading and unloading by using mechanical means like JCB, Tractor, stacking the wood at dumping yard, etc., including hire cost of tractor, driver, manpower for loading and unloading, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 10 | Collection and disposal of dried garden waste / fallen tree branches as and when required from open areas, roadside, etc., including collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means, stacking, disposal of collected waste within 4 km lead, hire cost of tractor, driver, manpower for loading and unloading, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. | 12 | The schedule of quantities is to be read for the purpose of pricing in conjunction with the special conditions, general rules for the guidance of contractors, conditions of contract, specifications, drawings, schedule of supply of materials and the appendices. |
| 13 | The prices inserted in the schedule of quantities shall be inclusive of value of the work described including all cost and expenses, which may be required in and for the construction of the work described together with the general risks, liabilities and obligations not forth or implied in the documents on which the tender is to be based. |
| 14 | The quantities stated are to be considered approximate only and the unit prices entered in the schedule of quantities and prices shall apply only to the actual quantities measured in the completed work in accordance with the specifications. |
| 15 | All the materials other than those shown in schedule of supply of materials in section VII are to be arranged by the contractor and his rates should account for the same. |
| 16 | Rates quoted for all items in this tender shall include cost of all materials including cement and steel. Department will not supply any materials other than materials stipulated in Section - VII of the tender and as such the rates quoted must be all inclusive. |
