| 3 | Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of MSERW bevelled edge butt welded pipes of Tata, Jindal, Surya Roshani make conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 Grade X-42/X-52 grade as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned there in code (mill tolerances to be restricted within 3%) a random length of 4m - 7m. The butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, Butt welded joint to be measured and paid for separately). The pipe shall have zinc coating inside and out side as per IS: 4736 in factory premises latest with upto date amendments. |
