Name of Work:- Cleaning of debrises from Roads, berms, backup space & disposal of dredged materials from Port area i.e from Gate No.4 area to MPB junction, MPB Junction to NQ-I via CQ, SQ and EQ area, connecting Road from T-Junction to New IOB in IOHP area and 3-B road (4 lane) leading from IOHP to Wagon Tippler (one year).

Deployment of the following machineries for cleaning the Road, backup area, approns, approaches or for any other cleaning purpose as & when required including port entry fees, engagement, running & hire charges of all machineries, operator charges, fuel, lubricants, T&P etc all complete excluding GST and as per direction of Engineer in charge.NB: No idle hours for machineries shall be paid.Area of coverage:(i) Road surface from Gate No.4 area to Dry Dock and Wet Basin.(ii) Road surface from PPL Jetty to MPB Square.(iii) Road surface from MPB Square to SQ alongside CQ-1, CQ-2, CQ-3 Berths and R-7 siding.(iv) Road surface from Tippler Junction to IOHP and IOHP to 3-B road (4 lane) alongside NIOB.(v) Backup area of manual Berths i.e. MPB, CQ-1, CQ-2, SQ, NQ-1 & NQ-2.

Deployment of the following Semiskilled Labour for cleaning the kerb stone/divider edges, sides drain, rain cuts, medians etc. including providing T&P, equipments, Port entry fees etc all complete excluding GST and as directed by the Engineer in charge.N.B.1: (i) Records for engagement of labour shall be maintained by the Agency in proper format and produced for payment purpose. It to be certified by officials of HWD-I, PPA. (ii) The rate of wages against the above items is as per the approved labour rate of Govt. of India/PPA. The Contractor must pay the minimum wages as approved by Govt. of India/PPA during operation of contract.(iii) EPF, ESI, Bonus & Gate pass and other Misc. benefits will be reimbursed as per actual on production of supporting documents.(iv) Canteen Allowance @ Rs.80/- per day, Washing Allowance @ Rs.45/- per day, Welfare Allowance @ Rs.60/- per day and Transport Allowance @ Rs.60/- per day, natural death insurance @ Rs.1500/- per year, Accidental Insurance @ Rs.350/- per year, Leave Salary (1 day wages every 20 days of work), Retrenchment @ 15 days wages per year will be paid to the workers and will be reimbursed by PPA.(v) GST as applicable will be paid by PPA.(vi) Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) and Uniform will be as per the prevailing norms, which shall be reimbursed as per the existing rates.N.B.2: After submission of Payment challans towards EPF & ESI to the workers, the R/A Bill of the Contractor will be released.
