| 2 | Earth work in excavation for foundation, drains, trenches etc. in soil upto required depth upto 6 M or greater depth as required, including getting out the earth, side earth protection by shoring and shuttering, sheet fixing etc . as required to prevent collapse of earth , including barricading with signage and including cleaning and grubbing land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of all girth , removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal and stacking of serviceable material in Civil store of NAPS and disposal of unserviceable material and surplus earth at the designated location upto lead of 5 KM as per direction of EIC all complete, including , watering and consolidation and compaction of the foundation strata by suitable compaction equipment such as vibro compactor etc., including marking the points/locations and elevations in the field from the provided coordinates/benchmarks using DGPS/GPS/Total station as required and getting them verified, before and after excavation work including providing the required operators for above machines, marking the levels ,making grid pillars etc. as per requirement. |
| 3 | Note- (1) Contractor has to carry out excavation carefully, contractor will have to make good any damage occurring to any underground pipe line, cable etc. at his own cost if any damage occurs during excavation. (2) Contractor has to get the maximum dry density and optimum moisture content of the foundation strata soil tested by NABL approved lab at his own cost @ 1 sample for 18 nos. of ERMS pedestal foundation and 4 nos. AWS foundation (3) Contractor has to carry out compaction of foundata strata and demonstrate the achievement of 95% density of MDD by arranging the equipment for sand replacement test at site at his own cost , and test and demonstrate the achieved density @ 1 sample(3 trial pits) by himself for 18 nos. of ERMS pedestal foundation and 4 nos. AWS foundation .When the required density is achieved , clearance for PCC shall be given. |
| 4 | Breaking of brick work / plain cement concrete (PCC) (plastered/unplastered) and stacking of all usable material in civil stores, disposal of all rubbish and brick bats up to a lead of 3 Km by tractor trolley and other suitable equipment as per direction of EIC. |
| 5 | Breaking of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) , including cutting steel bars and stacking of all usable material in civil stores, disposal of all rubbish up to a lead of 3 Km by tractor trolley and other suitable equipment as per direction of EIC. |
| 6 | Providing and laying M-15 Concrete (Minimum Compressive Strength 150 Kg. / cm2 ) machine batched and machine mixed using graded stone aggregate 20 mm maximum size and down graded including scaffolding, formwork, mixing, pouring, mechanical vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing by hessian bags and making removable cement bunds where ever applicable etc. complete but excluding reinforcement all as per specification and directed by EIC. (Using minimum Cement Content 330 Kg./M3). The design mix shall be obtained from approved NABL concrete testing lab as per IS:10262 and submitted to EIC before start of work. Note- 1) Steel reinforcement will be paid separately in relevant items. 2) Contractor has to submit NABL approved 3rd party report of cubes tested at 7 days and 28 days in timely manner as per IS:456, 30% payment for concrete shall be withheld and will be released only after submission of test reports indicating compliance to grade of concrete. Sampling frequency will as stipulated in technical specifications. |
| 7 | Supplying and laying M-20 concrete (minimum compressive strength 200 Kg /cm2) using graded stone aggregate 20mm maximum size for different works (beam, Columns, Footing, slab etc. wherever required.) including form work, scaffolding, mixing, consolidation, finishing, application of vibrator and curing etc. complete as per specification and drawing etc. complete. (minimum Cement content is 350 kg/M3). The design mix shall be obtained from approved NABL concrete testing lab as per IS:10262 and submitted to EIC before start of work. Note- 1) Steel reinforcement will be paid separately in relevant items. 2) Contractor has to submit NABL approved 3rd party report of cubes tested at 7 days and 28 days in timely manner as per IS:456, 30% payment for concrete shall be withheld and will be released only after submission of test reports indicating compliance to grade of concrete. Sampling frequency will as stipulated in technical specifications. |
| 8 | Supplying and laying Reinforced / unreinforced cement concrete grade M-30 (complying to IS 456 and IS 10262) machine batched and machine mixed with suitable arrangement for transporting the concrete to laying site and at all heights. M-30 grade concrete shall comprise of graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size for different works of RCC walls, slab, cover, columns, pedestals, foundation, beams , chajja , lintels etc. including transportation, form work & shuttering ,mixing, scaffolding, consolidation, finishing, application of vibrator, providing of cover block, curing using hessian bags, jute gunny bags, curing compound, placement of EPs, orientation as per drawing , installing safety nets, safety ropes, casting of trench cover , lifting and keeping trench cover in position, hacking and removal of old lose concrete from existing foundation etc. all complete. (Minimum cement content is 410 Kg/m3) as specified in Technical Specifications. The design mix shall be obtained from approved NABL concrete testing lab as per IS:10262 and submitted to EIC before start of work. Admixture to be added shall be complying to IS:9103. |
| 9 | Note- 1) Steel reinforcement will be paid separately in relevant items. 2) Contractor has to submit NABL approved 3rd party report of cubes tested at 7 days and 28 days in timely manner as per IS:456, 30% payment for concrete shall be withheld and will be released only after submission of 28 days test reports indicating compliance to grade of concrete. Sampling frequency will as stipulated in technical specifications. 3) For concrete cubes not meeting strength requirement , actions as per IS 456 will be taken. 4)Contractor has to prepare temporary template for fixing of anchor bolts during construction at his own cost and the same will be removed after completion of pedestal construction. 5) Contractor has to handle, transport, lift and fix the EPs/stubs/tempelates as provided by department at his own cost at the required elevation, orientation and location for embedding the same in concrete at his own cost and no extra payment will be made for handling , erection , installing and embedding any EP. The contractor shall ensure verification of the position of same by suitable means at his own cost. |
| 10 | Supplying and laying 115mm thick soling with brick {average size-225mmx105mmx65mm (± 5mm)} of minimum compressive strength 70 kg / cm2 including leveling, compaction and dressing the surface by cutting, transporting and filling the earth, complete to the required level and shape laying bricks with joints staggered and disposal of surplus earth upto a level of 3Km all as per specification and direction of Engineer.Note:Concrete shall be laid over brick soling, No addl. payment will be made for concrete going in the joints of brick soling. |
| 11 | Supplying and placing in position T.M.T bars as per specifications and drawings (TMT bars properties Conforming to IS-1786), for all reinforced cement concrete work including cutting, bending, fabricating, fixing and tying in position with 16 gauge soft drawn annealed binding wire with chairs, supports, etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per specifications and drawing (Binding wire will not be measured for payment). Re-steel shall be of SAIL / VIZAG / TATA / TISCO/JINDAL make and test certificate is required with supply. Note- 1) Materials to be sent for 3rd party NABL approved testing lab also. Contractor has to submit the reports of 3rd party testing timely. 2) Bar bending schedule to be prepared by contractor before cutting any reinforcement. 3) Payment for left in place tie rods for shuttering, chairs and supports will be considered separately in this item. 4) Contractor has to suitably seal any exposed surface of reinforcement in case of tie rods of shuttering. |
| 12 | Supplying and laying bricks masonry using brick {average size-225mmx105mmx65mm (± 5mm)} and minimum compressive strength 70 kg / cm2 and water absorption not more than 20% with cement mortar 1:4 at all elevation including simultaneous pointing below plinth level and racking out joints above ground level, curing, Scaffolding etc. complete. |
| 13 | Providing 12 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 to concrete or brick surface, etc. at all heights including preparation of surface hacking, removing of loose materials, cleaning of joints, finishing curing, provision of scaffolding, disposal of rubbish, all complete as per direction of EIC. |
| 14 | Supplying, fabrication, bolting erecting and embedding structural steel of materials as per IS:2062 Grade E250 Quality-A, IS-2062 Grade-A (BR or any other quality designation ), IS:1239, IS:1363 , SA 53 GR-2 or equivalent , SA 234 Gr.-B carbon steel or any other grade as mentioned in drawings including pipes, angles, flats, tee, plate, welded mesh, canopy, stud bolts, anchor bolts of EP (grade 5.6) with required threading , hex nut , lock nut etc. as per drawing for fabrication of Embeded parts , platforms , railings , structural members etc as per requirement and painted with red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint , welded with E-6013 (low hydrogen) Welding electrodes NPCIL approved, as well as for dissimilar weld as per requirement all complete. |
| 15 | Back filling of excavated useful soil obtained from item no. 1 around the foundation in layers not exceeding 200mm as per requirement including collecting the earth, watering, consolidation, compaction by vibratory compactor, roller or any suitable equipment as feasible to use in limited space at site including disposal of surplus earth at designated location upto a lead of 5 km , and providing required labour , machinery , testing etc. all complete.Payment will be on the basis of compacted volume of soil at site.Note-1) Contractor has to get the maximum dry density and optimum moisture content of the excavated soil tested by NABL approved lab at his own cost @ 1 sample for each of 18 nos. of ERMS pedestal foundation and each of 4 nos. AWS foundation (2) Contractor has to carry out compaction of backfill and demonstrate the achievement of 95% density of MDD by arranging the equipment for sand replacement test at site at his own cost , and test and demonstrate the achieved density @ 1 sample(3 trial pits) by himself for each of 18 nos. of ERMS pedestal foundation and each of 4 nos. AWS foundation at every 1m depth starting from top of concrete and the last test at the top of finished ground level level .When the required density is achieved , clearance for further work shall be given. |
