| 27 | M&L for sunken floor treatment as under:- (i) The sunken portion shall be tested for leakage / seepage / dampness by ponding with water for 72 hours. In case any defect is noticed, the defective portion shall be grouted with cement slurry mixed with suitable chemical & tested again. The process of grouting and testing shall be repeated till leakage/ seepage/ dampness is eliminated.(ii) Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for in any type of filling in sunken portion & cleaned the sunken potion including vertical wall surface complete all as directed.(iii)Laying of 40mm thick (Min) PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions on bottom of sunken portion with proper slope towards spout. Vertical sides shall be plastered in CM (1:3), 15 mm thick mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions. Plaster shall be extended over PCC coving when the same is green i.e. PCC & plaster be carried out at the same time complete all as specified and directed.(iv) After laying sewage/ plumbing pipes with fixtures in position, 2 coats of OMIPLAS EP-101 epoxy compound shall be applied complete all as specified and directed.(v) Testing again of water tightness by ponding for 72 hours & rectifying defects if any till total elimination of defects complete all as specified and directed.(vi) M&L to fill the sunken floor with PCC ( 1:5:10) type E-2 using 40mm graded brick aggregate over the treated surface complete all as specified and directed.(vii) Provinding spouts of 25mm dia GI pipe light grade projecting 450mm from clear outer suraface of wall with mosquito proof cap on inner face of pipe shall be provided to drain out seepage water, including cutting holes and making good if needed complete all as specified and directed. |
