| 21 | M&L for sunken treatment of Toilet/Bathroom as in following steps:- i) Top of RCC slab in sunken portion including peripheral beams shall be plastered with 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 using approved water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement, finished even and smooth using extra cement, curved at the junctions. ii) Apply two coats of epoxy resin/polymer modified cementatious coating like brush bond for both on floor & beams. iii) Sunken slabs to be given 1:20 slope outward 25mm GI pipe(medium grade) spout with 300 mm projection beyond outer surface of wall shall be provided. iv) Water tightness of sunken portion to be tested by ponding with water for 72 hours. In case of even a slight mark of seepage, the portion to be treated and ponding shall be carried out again to confirm the water tightness of sunken slab. Note : (i) No cutting in roof slab/beam shall be allowed for passing of CI pipes & fittings.The stage of water proofing to sunken slab shall be passed by Eng-in-charge/GE. (ii) water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately |
