| 13 | M&L for detecting carefully any type of faults of HT/LT UG cables at various locations by using Cable fault Locator instrument suitable to locate and pin point faults in UG Cables upto 11 KV and taking out /removing the faulty portion of cable from earth/duct, cutting down and disconnecting the faulty part and joining the two ends with straight through joints including realigning old cable covers/ new cable covers over the cable and meggering /testing after repair. The Cable fault locator shall consist of the following equipment which, if required,shall be used in conjunction with each other for detection of fault:a) Digital Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) used for finding the distance of the fault from one end of the cable (Pre-fault location) with required accessories.b) HV surge generator to produce high voltage surges, perform DC high voltage testing and provide burning facility to find out which phase is faultyc) Cable fault pinpointing set with required accessories to determine route and eact position of faults in UG cables.Note:-(i) The set shall have facility to locate fault in UG cable of min. span 6 km and min. depth upto 2 m.(ii) The Fault Locator shall have cable identifying instrument with required accessories for identification of a particular cable out of a bunch of live and/or dead cables.(iii) All constituent part of the equipment for cable fault locating set should be independent and separate in nature for easy transportation.(iv) (a) Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid separately (b) Straight throught joint for HT cable shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule (c) Actual detected fault shall be paid under this item, however, dummy located trail will not allowed or measured. (d) New cable covers, if layed in fault location will be paid separately. |
| 14 | Disconnecting incoming, outgoing and earthing lead connections of transformers, 100 KVA to 160 KVA , 11 KV /433 Volt, outdoor/indoor type from power supply,carrying out routine yearly maintenance works as per Table-1 of IS:10028 (Part-III) including reconnection of all incoming outgoing and earthing lead connections, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The work shall be carried out through Authorised & Qualified agencies as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (ii) Testing(s) shall be done through State Electrical Licencing Board's valid electrical licence holder for the appropriate class/category of the work as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (iii) Spare Parts for replacement, topping up of transformer oil and dehydration & filteration of transformer oil will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ here in after. |
| 15 | Disconnecting incoming, outgoing and earthing lead connections of transformers, 200 KVA to 315 KVA, 11 KV /433 Volt, outdoor/indoor type from power supply,carrying out routine yearly maintenance works as per Table-1 of IS:10028 (Part-III) including reconnection of all incoming outgoing and earthing lead connections, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The work shall be carried out through Authorised & Qualified agencies as approved by the Engineer in Charge. Notes:- (i) The work shall be carried out through Authorised & Qualified agencies as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (ii) Super enameled /paper coated copper wire/strip for rewinding of defective HV/LV coils will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ. (iii) Testing(s) shall be done through State Electrical Licencing Board's valid electrical licence holder for the appropriate class/category of the work as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (iv) Spare Parts for replacement, topping up of transformer oil and dehydration & filteration of transformer oil will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ here in after. |
