Dummy closing and opening at W2 Outlet:Closing of W2 outlet vent dummy, 800 NB, with proper gasket inorder to have a leak free joint before leak test and then opening it after leak testing.

Providing Slipplates at W5 inlet & Outlet ducts and removal - The work involves cutting of W5 shell inlet duct from IAT,W5 shell outlet to W2 for for providing Slip plates after giving necessary supports as per instruction of the site engineer. Slip plate provided in W5-W2 duct & W5-IAT Inlet duct shall ensure proper isolation of W2 & W5 vessels before testing. After testing slip plates shall be removed and ducts shall be welded back without any leaks as per instruction from Engineer - in charge. Any welding cutting etc involed in the process shall be under the scope of the contractor.All scaffolding and other site arrangements for the execution of the work shall be under the scope of work of the contractor.

Testing arrangements:Assistance for providing / making hose connection with valve and testing of both W2 & W5Heat Exchangers.

Plugging:Plugging the leaky tubes of W2& W5 on both sides with suitable plugs and full welding as per instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. One tube plugging means plugging from both sides. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
