1	Repair of under mentioned furniture items of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP will be carried out as follows:-(a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.(b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE (East) Prayagraj including BSO Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg.

Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units at OTM/Md Accn under the jurisdiction of GE (East) Prayagraj including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

One hard wood battens of 60 mm x 22 mm shall be provided horizontally fixing in between the legs at 500 mm high from bottom of leg frame of head board. OST face ply shall be fixed in the frame of head board at back side as well as inner side as per the drg except quilting area.
