M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15mm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in altemate layers Including refilling with good earth specified and electrode connections by using GI wire of 4sqmm size by means of bolts,nuts,checknuts and washers made of GI and provision of GI pipe medium grade 15 mmdia for protection of earthing lead and 20mm dia for watering arrangement Including funnel,wire mesh, CI pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 Including Taking out old unserviceable earthpit necessary excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr all as specified and shown on plate No 3 of MES Part-I.
