Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual / mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling, wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to dumping site is to be selected by the contractor at his own level in private land only through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its levelling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and / labour if required. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. The rates is inclusive of the octori, royality, Malkana, Tolll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 300 and 1600 and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal un-useful materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimeters) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Carriage of surplus muck genrated from cutting/excavation work to the disposable/dumping site to be selected by the contractor in private lands. The is rate including the octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, sales tax GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm (four milimetre) dia G.I wire conforming to IS: 280 and IS: 4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighting not less than 25 Kg (twenty five kilograme) each as per drawing technical specifications Clause 1301 and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
