| 1 | Conducting Geo-hydralogical/Geo-physical ground water investigation survey at Naval HQ Delhi Cantt Area,through Government local bodies like central water commisssioneror any auth surveyer or any state/central Ground Water Boards for location of borewells with four alternative locations of various yields. The report from the concerned department shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Based on the report, the contractor should give the proposal for appropriate location which shall be approved by the Garrison Engineer.Note :- All expenses involved for getting done the Geo-hydrological/Geo-physical ground water investigation survey through local body including inspection fees, fee for submission of application and other incidental charges if any, as required by the local bodies at various stages are to be included in the quote rate of the same. |
| 2 | M&L for Trial bore for 200 mm dia upto 200meter depth below ground level in any kind of soil strata including hard stone/boulder including electric logging, MS cap, MS flat iron clamps, reducing socket complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | Development of trial bore by reaming in following step:- |
| 4 | Reaming up to 300 mm for 60 RM from ground level including pea gravel. |
| 5 | Reaming up to 300 mm from depth exceeding 60 metre to 200 meter including pea gravel. |
| 6 | M&L for Development of tube well with compressed air and after with 25 % extra capacity pump by pumping muddy water. Note :-Development with compressed air by means of air compressor of suitable capacity not less than 1000 PSI and over pumping using suitable capacity pump until sand free water is obtained. The compressor/pumping set/ equipment for testing as required shall be arranged by the contractor. Vertical test of tube well housing up to reducer position plumb and alignment immediately after lowering the house in pipe and before commencement for gravel packing by tripped and plumb complete. Chemical & bacteriological testing of water sample from approved laboratory to ensure portability of water. No extra payment will be done on this account. |
| 7 | S&F in bore ERW MS Pipes Heavy grade of 200 mm dia with thickness 8mm with all fittings as required at site confirming to IS-3589 including necessary welding work as required complete all as specified and directed |
| 8 | Additional cost for slotted MS pipe of 200 mm dia in lieu of casing pipe of 200 mm dia with thickness 8mm. |
| 9 | Yield testing of tube well by contineous run with suitable equipment all as per IS-2800 part-II of 1979 including complete testing of water suitable for drinding purpose as per IS-10500 of 1991 from testing Laboratory approved by GE and report shall be submitted to GE. The well shall be tested 24 hours continuous after development of the well to acertain the yield. The air compressure/higher capacity pump required for the development of the well by means of over pumping shall be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangement. |
| 10 | Supply and fixing of column pipe made out of GI pipe made out of GI heavy grade 80mm nominal bore each 3 Mtr length including flange duly welded with web complete all as specified and directed. |

| 15 | M&L Earthing complete with galvanized mile steel earth plate electrodes 600x600x6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground to a depth not less then 2.25m deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around to the plate , using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip electrod bolted or rivited to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI light grade pipe from upper end of earth plate up to equipment 20 mm dia bore GI pipe light grade as water pipe from earth chember to upper edge of earth plate, Test point, GI funnel with wire mess fixed on water pipeand PCC 1:2:4 type B 1 , (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate)as in pit chember and RCC pit cover 50 mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 duly reinforced with MS round bar 6 mm dia @ 100 c/c both way with 10 mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying of GI Pipe concealed in floor and wall all as described in electrical plate of SSR part-I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion Note :- If the desired earth resistance is not found earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. |
