| 3 | Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat on existing black top surfaces with paving bitumen primer using bitumen VG-10 paving grade ( 80 -100 penetration) @ 5 Kg per Ten Square Metre with tar boiler and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed. |

| 5 | Note for item No. 1 to 3 :(a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account.(b) To achieve marshal stability of 1050 KN and all as per SSR Part-I Clause No. 20.B.4. (c) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 60.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. |
| 6 | Preparation of any type of road surfaces by scratching old spots, paints, trading oils greasy spots etc. and applying reflective Thermo Plastic road marking paint 2.5 mm thick as side, side lines, dashes, arrows, letters, stop lines etc of white/yellow approved colour of width 100mm and more as directed conforming to Ministry of surface Transaport (MORTH) specification for the road and bridge work : 4th revision, over primer as per manufacturers instructions including glass beads (intermix) type I (most/BS6008A) and provision contained in IRC-35-1997, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Contractor shall have to furnish the detail that quantity minimum used per square meter is 5.00 Kg/Sqm. |
| 7 | Convex mirror of 1000mm dia, made of polycorbonate material provided with 75mm dia mild steel medium weight pipe post of 108m high, duly powder coated fixed on ground with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of block size 60x60x60 cm, fixing in repair including earth work & removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note : Cost of PCC and earth work is deemed to be included in unit cost. |
