| 1 | M&L water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab,walls,chajjas etc,shall be carried out as specified below and as directed by Engr-in-charge(a) Removing of existing old bitumenous tarfelt (water proofing treatment) including cement screed bed and clean the surface with wire brush and washing with water to achieve the original surface of slab.(b) M&L for 10mm thick plaster screed bed layer in CM 1:3 on concrete surfaces mixed with liquid water proofing compound 200 ml per bag of cement (c) Preparing plastered surfaces of roof slab,walls, chajjas etc by brooming with broom sweeping free from dirt dust etc and applying one coat of oil based cold bituminius primer @ 0.40 ltr per Sqm of area complete all as specified .(d) Laying APP polymer modified approved membrane ,non woven,polyster,weighing not less than 3.5Kg /Sqm and 3mm thick with laps and over laps as specified and joints sealed and applied complete by torch application methd all as specified and directed by Engr -in-charge .Carring out test by flooding water for 24 hrs for leekage and seepage and rectifying the same to the entire satisfaction of GE.(e) Finally applying two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.15ltr/Sqm on the top of membrane & complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position on roof slab/sunken slab as in padding etc including removing rubbish off the premises complete all as directed. |
