Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning firewall for VPN termination - 01 No.The bidder shall deploy an advanced perimeter isolation mechanism capable of enforcing segmented trust boundaries within the proposed private communication fabric. The firewall system shall operate in a mode that ensures that all operational traffic traverses through controlled inspection zones, with routing decisions governed exclusively by predefined trust policies rather than public-network reachability.the firewall enforces persistent state validation, controlled service exposure, and complete suppression of unintended ingress or egress pathways. The system must maintain operational continuity under fluctuating network conditions and support transparent integration with the underlying non-public transport infrastructure used for data acquisition. Complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge.
The bidder shall establish a secure, private communication framework enabling controlled acquisition of operational data between remote field locations and the central supervisory environment. The solution shall utilise carrier-provided, non-public wide-area transport mechanisms based on dedicated OT-grade cellular or equivalent isolated network technologies. The communication path shall remain logically segregated from any public Internet infrastructure, ensuring deterministic routing, controlled access domains, and end-to-end confidentiality of all telemetry exchanges. The bidder shall also ensure that the private WAN construct incorporates resilience measures to maintain uninterrupted data flow to the designated head-end systems. Complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge.
The bidder shall provide an industrial-grade 5-port unmanaged Ethernet switch suitable for reliable data exchange within the proposed closed communication environment. The switch shall offer auto-negotiating Ethernet interfaces supporting standard data rates, with non-blocking internal switching capability to ensure uninterrupted packet flow. The device shall operate without configuration requirements and shall provide transparent forwarding across all ports. It shall be equipped with appropriate electrical and environmental endurance to function in typical industrial panel conditions and shall support stable operation under continuous service. The switch shall include provisions for basic protection features inherent to unmanaged devices and shall integrate seamlessly within the private OT communication framework. Complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge.
Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of Server PC shall be a workstation-class system suitable for running medium-to-high processing applications with reliable 24×7 operation. The unit shall be equipped with a multi-core processor of contemporary generation, providing adequate capability for application hosting, background services, and data handling tasks. The system shall include a minimum of 16 GB of high-speed system memory, expandable to support future application growth.Primary storage shall be based on solid-state technology to ensure fast operating system and application performance, complemented by an additional storage volume for data retention. The workstation shall offer standard networking interfaces, including at least one Gigabit Ethernet port, and sufficient USB and expansion connectivity for peripheral integration. The system shall be housed in a well-ventilated chassis designed for workstation duty, incorporating stable power delivery and appropriate thermal management for sustained operation. The hardware shall support commonly used operating systems such as Windows or Linux and include a minimum three-year warranty covering essential components and service support. Complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge.
| 10 | The bidder shall carry out a comprehensive on-site survey prior to commencement of system implementation to ensure proper integration with the existing electrical, communication, and operational environments. The survey shall include verification of available power sources, grounding arrangement, equipment mounting locations, cable routing paths, environmental conditions, and physical space adequacy for installation. The survey shall also assess the existing network topology, available communication ports, addressing structure, and interconnection requirements with field devices and control equipment. The bidder shall confirm signal accessibility, device compatibility, and feasibility of integrating the proposed solution within the existing infrastructure without disruption to ongoing operations. The survey report shall document all site observations, constraints, interface points, required modifications/amendments (if any), and recommendations necessary for ensuring smooth deployment and commissioning of the system. Implementation activities shall proceed only after the survey findings are verified and accepted by the client Detailed drawings of infra under project implementation, to be integrated shall be provided by the client for the survey purpose.
