Deployment of chowkidars for watch and ward duties of the official building and its premises. The deployed staff shall be responsible for safeguarding government property and maintaining proper security of the building and its surroundings. The duties will include monitoring the entry and exit of unauthorized persons, ensuring vigilance during both day and night hours, and protecting all government assets within the premises. The chowkidars shall also keep a regular watch over the compus area, report any suspicious activity or damage to the concerned authorities etc. and to the enitre satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
