| 7 | Providing and laying Cement Concrete Pavement of M30 grade (PQC) for parking including batching, mixing, laying, vibrating with needle and screedvibrators, finishing, curing, and all leads and lifts complete as per MoRTH specifications, including cutting of contraction and expansion joints, providing and fixing approved joint filler board, sealing of joints with approvedhot-poured bituminous sealant, including preparation of joint faces, cleaning, placing, finishing and all incidental works complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate shall include cost of all materials, labour, T&P, joint materials, curing, finishing and all incidental charges required for complete execution of the work. Note: The contractor shall ensure that the Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) used in the construction of the road conforms strictly to the specifiedM30 grade design mix as per relevant IS codes. It shall be mandatory for the contractor to obtain and submit test certificates confirming the compressive strength and grade of concrete from a Government-approved / NABLaccredited testing laboratory. The testing shall be carried out on standard cube samples drawn from the site duringexecution of the work. The test results must clearly establish that the concrete achieves the requiredcharacteristic compressive strength of M30 grade. The frequency of sampling and testing shall be in accordance with relevant IS provisions. No payment shall bereleased for the RCC work unless the satisfactory test reports from the approved laboratory are submitted and verified by the Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure to meet the specified grade, necessary corrective measures, including dismantling and reconstruction, shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost.\\" |
