| 2 | M&L for preparing the existing black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc scraping with brooms and finally fanning with cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and M&L Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges. |
| 3 | Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam(BM) using paving bitumen (paving bitumen VG-40 grade) penetration, with binder content @ 4.5 % of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with help of mechanical paver and paver roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity all as (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges. |
| 4 | M& L for providing bitumen premix Semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder (paving bitumen VG-40) by weight of total mix, mixed in computerized hot mix plant, laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with the help of mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side,the difference in quantity of of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rates of Rs 42/- per Kg for paving bitumen VG-40. However no plus adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. |

| 12 | M&L Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges. |
