| 14 | Preparation of Test reports in the specified formats and documenting official letters and documentation, maintaining registers, files and periodical updating of datas for storage and retrieval and as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge. | 15 | Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-Charge. Note : 1. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. 2. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 3. The scaffolding system drawing shall be got approved by Engineer-in-Charge. 4. The contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) (Safety Code for scaffolds). 5. Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the work is in progress. 6. Necessary aluminium / M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building. |
| 16 | Carrying out Rapid Chloride Permeability Test (RCPT) in the laboratory to determine the electrical conductance of concrete specimens. This process encompasses precise cutting of core samples to specified dimensions, meticulous surface finishing to ensure smooth and even surfaces on each specimen, proper installation of specimens in the testing apparatus, preparation of chemical solution with required normality and recording test results over the specified time period as per relevant standards and complete, as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge. The necessary instruments/equipment required for the test will be provided by the department. |
| 17 | Carrying out air permeability of cover concrete at site using TORRENT Permeability tester instrument which includes surface preparation , creation of vacuum on the surface and conducting the test as per relevant standard and complete, as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge. | 18 | Carrying out water penetration depth test to evaluate the water resistance and durability of concrete structures which involves casting concrete samples using the concrete mix proportion adopted during the construction of the structure, curing the samples appropriately, securing the samples in the testing apparatus, monitoring the applied pressure over a specified duration, and measuring the depth of water penetration and complete, as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge. | 19 | Carrying out non-destructive testing using a rebar detector to determine the location of reinforcement, concrete cover depth, and diameter of RCC reinforcement bars, including surface preparation, grid marking as per the relevant procedures and complete as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
