To perform under term contract such services and execute such works on the terms and condition contained or referred in the \\"MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2009 (Part-I) Specification and MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 (Part-II)\\" rates together with errata/amendments as applicable and upon the conditions contained in tender documents as may be demanded and as are enumerated in the aforesaid standard schedule of rates during the period of 01 (One) Year from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES standard schedule of rates.OR At such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of \\"General condition of contracts (IAFW-2249)\\" 1989 print with errata.amendments as applicable.Note:- (i) Tenderer shall insert percentage rate at F5 Column of the BOQ.(ii) Tenderer shall refer and select the option excess (+) or less (-) available at E4 Column of this BOQ to quote the percentage above/below MES Standard Schedule of rates. The percentage quoted by tenderer shall be made applicable for acceptance while publishing the acceptance letter.(iii) Amount inserted by the MES under rates Col and the total amount reflacted in the page is a rough guidence and for reference only. Similarly the quoted amount works out (based on percentage rate quoted by contractor) shall also be treated as rough and reference only. The acceptance contractor offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate on MES standard shedule of rates. The works orders for various works/sevices shall be placed for amount worked out/priced on the rates contained in MES standard shedule of rates (Part-II) duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by the contractor.(iv) Contractor special attention is invited to condition \\"4(A) works to be carried out (Applicable only to term contracts)\\" and condition \\"56 Termination of contract (Applicable only to term contracts)\\" of \\"General condition of contracts (IAFW-2249)\\". The provisions of these conditions of \\"General conditions of contracts (IAFW-2249) are strict to be followed.(v) It is express condition of this contract that the amount of total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extant irrespective of the amount works out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES standard schedule of rates 2020 (Part-II) duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantam of work required to be done/work done.(vi) Whatever amount quoted by the L1 Bidder, work order shall be placed up to the NIT amount mentioned in tender documents.
