| 1 | M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water,scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arounds edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm rolled and compacted complete all as specified and directed. |
| 2 | M&L for preparing surfaces of existing black top surface of road by wire brushes brushing with mechanical means, for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to clear the surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying priming /tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents paving bitumen (VG-30 viscosity grade mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers and laid with a hydrostatic PAVER FINISHER WITH SENSOR control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) 05 Nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost after 07 days from date of laying of SDAC at location directed by Engineer-in-Charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment. (CTL/IIT Roorkee / any Govt Institute as approved by GE.(b) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by total mix. Any addition / deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II. |

| 26 | Supplying & fixing in repair of retro-reflectorised traffic sign boards by providing and fixing new retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per ASTM D 4956-04 made of High intensity grade Microprismatic sheeting Type-IV, fixed over aluminium sheeting 2.0 mm thick of size 1200mmx900mm supported on a Stainless steel of grade 304 Frame comprising of hollow square section of size not less than 25mm. This frame is further welded to hollow circular section of outer dia not less than 50mm size, 2.4 meter high vertical post complete as per drawing. This vertical post shall be embeded in M15 grade cement concrete in a pit of size 3000mm X 300mm X 450 mm, 450 mm below ground level complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer. Note- The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of forming letters with retro-reflective taping as per the site requirements and all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
