| 1 | Material and Labour for installation, commissioning and testing of maintenance free chemical earthing to achive the desired value of resistance should be less than 1.0 ohm comprising of the following components :- (a) Pure Copper earithing rod (Copper Purity 99.9% and Company approved from CPRI) min size 80 mm outer dia x 3 mtr long, Inner Strip top to bottom Size 32 x 6 mm, pre- filled with CCM compound and Copper terminal strip 32x6x100 mm at top with two holes for connection the strip to the load. Make : OBO Earthing, JMB, JMV (Earthing), Powertrack, Ennov, Tirupati (b) Bore hole of the Chemical earth pit > 180mm and depth upto 3.3 mtr (approx) and comprising the Copper earth electrode and chemical earth enhancing Black Fill Compound containing Bentonite powder or graphite filled in earth pit (Approximate qty 50 kg). (c) All connections to the earth strip should be done by exothermic welding.(d) Short Circuit Current Test 25 kA.(e) Supply and fix heavy duty high density lockable plastic cover cum inspection chamber mounted on earthing electrode shall be fixed stainless steel fastners of size including all other required accessories complete the job of earth pit, complete all as specified and directed.(f) Taking down old GI/Copper plate earthing with old Earth pit chamber.Note :- (i) Cost of earth strip and HDPV/GI pipe protection for connecting with Earth Lead shall be measured and paid separately.(ii) The unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of boring of earth in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surpluse soil. |

| 3 | Supply and Fix Copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws on porecelain insulator/ spacer fixed at every 1 metre length on roof/wall and joining the same with New earth test point including taking down old old GI Strip/Wire complete all as specified and directed.Note :- All connections to the earth strip should be done by exothermic welding. |
| 4 | Supply and Fix air termination single pointed termination copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long on the GI pipe with suitable insulator, including taking down old Aluminium rod complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Supply and Fix GI pipe of size 50 mm dia light grade in replacement as earthing strip protection laid on trench/floor, fixed on pole/wall complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | Material and Labour for Pole painting of dia 50mm to 80 mm, length up to 3 meter with One coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | Material and Labour test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws, complete all as specified and directed.Note : (i) Enclosure shall be made up FRP box of suitable size. | 8 | Material and Labour for dismantling the existing broken earth pits and supply and fixing prefabricated/precast factory made PCC earth pit chamber of min size 450 mm x 450mm x300 mm alongwith precast chamber cover with lifting handle complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | Material and Labour for maintenance of conventional earth pit, pouring salt water solution of (salt and water ratio 1:3)5Kg : 15 Litres to earthing, tightening of earth electrode, removing grass around the earth pit, repair/replacement of funnels, removal of soil from the watering pipe complete all as specified and as directed.Note: (i) Location for repairing of earth pit chamber and earth pit covers shall be as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) All the maint works/replacement of parts are independent to each other except salt water solution. |
| 10 | Material and Labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode of size 600mmx600mmx3.15mm, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtrs deep below normal ground level, connected to copper earth strip of size 20x3 mm dia by means of brazing and connected to earthing test point / distribution board/equipments or any other indicated situation by means of brazing all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part I (2009) and testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling, removing of soil. GI medium grade pipe 32 mm dia 1.5 mtr long with funnel and wire mesh as watering pipe, and GI medium grade pipe 32 mm dia as earth lead protection pipe. Earth pit chamber made of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate including 40mm thick chamber cover made of 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars at 100 c/c on both ways precast chamber cover with lifting handle 16mm dia round bars including chorcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm thick covering all faces of earth electrode plate, including taking down old one, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) The rates quoted for the complete earthing shall deemed to include the cost of copper strip 20 x 3 mm and GI medium grade protection pipe upto 7.5 Mtrs.(ii) Copper earth strip and GI medium grade protection pipe beyond 7.5 Mtrs length shall be measured and paid separately. |
| 11 | Supply and fix in replacement of LED High Bay light fitting 80W AC 230V 50 Hz powder coated pressure die cast alluminum housing Circular LED High Bay light with tapered fin design and excellent thermal management along with IP66 protection. complete all as specified and diredted by Engineer in charge. MAKE-Crompton cat part No-LHB11-80-CDL/60-M or equivalent as per appendix 'B' approved make.Note :-(i) LED High Bay light fitting with clamp as per existing LED High Bay light fitting or directed by Engr-in-Charge.(ii) Light should be change with the help of Hydra Crane/Arial work platform boom bucket boom lift truck hight upto 15 meter.(ii) Hydra Crane Vehicle with crane opreator shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. |
| 12 | Taking down the existing security light fittings from Steel tubular Pole up to 15 mtrs Hight for repairs/replacing the defective parts, defective wires, rectifying loose connections, repair of cable, replacement of LED drivers, surge arresters etc and refixing the same in original position after carrying out necessary repair/replacement with the help of skilled electrician, helper and Hydra Crane complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:(i) All the spares such as cables, cable junction box, street light brackets, LED street lights and any other connected accessories shall be measured and paid under relevent item separately. (ii) Repair and replacement of all kind as mentioned above in each pole shall be considered as one job at one time. (iii) The cost of labour ,tools and minor spares required for replacement of parts, safety equipments, Hydra Crane Vehicle with crane opreator shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost.
