32Boring, providing and installation of bored cast in-situ Reinforced Cement Concrete piles using Hydraulic Piling Rig of specified diameter and length below pile cap, of specified grade, with Design Mix Cement Concrete using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand of approved quality, to carry a safe working load not less than specified; including concreting by machine batching, machine mixing, scaffolding, using admixture in approved proportion (as per IS:9103), placing with tremie pipe, chipping off pile top to remove laitance concrete above cut-off level, pumping and bailing out water, etc., complete in all respects as per approved drawing, specification, and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.Notes:Payment for only cement and reinforcement shall be made extra.Length of the pile for payment shall be measured up to the bottom of the RCC pile cap.Plasticiser shall invariably be used in approved proportion to increase workability with minimum possible quantity of cement for all grades of Design Mix Concrete, unless it is specifically approved citing reasons for not using plasticiser at the stage of Mix Design; in such cases, deduction shall be made as per relevant item.

191FIRE SEALANT for all Shafts - Supply and Fixing of load bearing Fire stop mortar system with minimum 2 hours fire rating when tested in accordance with UL 1479 standards, for openings in floors or slabs after passing service lines. The mortar shall be a light weight cementitious product and shall carry test certificate in accordance with IEC 60068-2-57:1999-11 (Environmental Testing) as per Part 2-57: Test for Vibration-Time-history method and VERTEQII for seismic zone 4. The product shall be age tested as per Dafstb and DIBT standards. The product shall carry test certificate for mold resistance rating of 0 as determined by ASTM G21-96 and shall have a VOC content of approx. <1 g/l as per LEED 2009. Firestop installation should be done by trained applicators (HAFSC) and in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines by providing 10mm dia rebars at 200mm c/c both ways with chemical anchoring along the length and breadth of the shaft and provide 2 layers of chicken mesh etc. The mortar shall be applied with a minimum thickness of 65 mm & having load bearing capacity of 200kg/sqm. Proper engineering judgement needs to be submitted through the manufacturer. Complete installation report through Software CFS DM shall also be submitted for inspection purpose.
