| 1 | Repair,maint including comprehensive preventive maintenance of DG set, including replacement of defective parts, filters, V-belt etc, decanning of the used engine oil from DG set by opening of drain out plug/nuts, cleaning of engine oil sump complete and refilling of new approved grade of engine oil as per requirement. Complete inspection and cleaning of DG set and rectified the all defects, tightening the all nuts, bolts, moving parts etc complete all as specified and directed of the following capacity.Notes : (i) Spare parts, 'V' - Belt, Filters, Air cleaner, hose, Engine Oil etc shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Any Minor items like washer, gasket, nuts, bolts, 'O' Ring etc other than spare parts maintained in the respective Sch if required during maintenance of work, they shall be provided by the contractor and rate deemed to be included in the item rate for which no extra payment shall be paid.(iii) Periodicity of maintenance of DG set shall be carried out as per following instruction :(a) by check oil level and quality (Every 50-100 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(b) Inspect air fltrer (Every 100 - 200 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(c) Check fuel system (Every 100 -200 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(d) Inspect cooling system (every 200 - 500 hours or as recommended by manufacturer). |
| 2 | (e) Check battery (every 200 - 500 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(f) Inspect exhaust (every 500 - 1000 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(g) Check electrical system (every 500 - 1000 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(h) Load test (every 500 - 1000 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(j) Inspect engine and generator mounts (every 500 - 1000 hours or as recommended by manufacturer)(h) Perform general inspection (every 1000 - 2000 hours or as recommended by manufacturer) and when required/ directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) All tool and plants shall be provided by the contractor.(vii) Contractor shall maintain proper documents of DG set wise pertains to maint carried out and submitted to the Engr-in-charge as & when maint carried out. |
