(i) Draining out the existing engine oil, clean the oil sump thoroughly and refilling with required quantity of new engine oil 15W40 & coolant to top up .(ii) Checking the starting batteries and filling with electrolyte/ Distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of Battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors. (Distilled water measured and paid seperately)(iii) Checking and cleaning of fan motor hub (iv) Checking and cleaning of exhaust system including removing of deposited carbon in exhaust pipe and checking of inlet manifold belt and cap screw (v) Cleaning of radiator inside and out side thoroughly with solution (caustic soda) to the entire satisfaction of Eng-in-charge by removing and re-fixing in original position after cleaning.(vi) Checking and adjusting injector and valves, tappet and replace the gasket including cost of gasket. (vii) Cleaning fuel inlet connections and screw, (viii) Checking of vibration damper and rectified. (ix) If available then Servicing of turbocharger by checking, leakage tightening of mounting screws & nuts and replace oil. (x) Checking water temperature safety control(xi) Servicing of governer and Changing of governor oil. (xii) Checking and adjusting all fan belt. (xiii) Any other check as per manufacturer`s instructions (xiv) Checking and adjusting of control panel parameters i.e RPM, Fuel level indication, current, voltage, battery charging status, KWH, running hour, PF etc all parameters show exact as per DG set OEMs reccommendation and if not workinf properly then rectified the same by repair/replacing the defective parts. |
| 13 | (xv) Testing of DG set at connected load all as directed by the Engr in charge.Note for item no 12 to 18: (i) The work should be done through authorised service provider of OEM and only genuine parts should be used as per OEM, Service provider shall be submitted the perticular service performa and check list of items duly signed by concern JEs before proceeding payment otherwise payment will not be paid.(ii) Repair and Transportation charge for carrying out repair & reinstall on same installation back shall be deemed to be included in this rates(iii) Necessary spare parts required if any will be measured and paid under relevant items, fixing charges of these spare parts shall be deemed to be included in the rate. (iv) Engine oil /Spares/filters of make reccomended by OEM will only be used for servicing of DG set(v) New Engine Oil, coolant will be provide by contractor as supply only under relevent item of BOQ. (vi) All connected items which are replaced firstly check to engg-in-charge and after approval of engg-in-charge will be fitted in DG sets. (vii) All service and replaced items list of each DG set will be prepared by contractor in register and duly signed with concerned JEs and submitted to engg-in-charge for signed, after submitted to subdivision with contactor's signed and firm stamp on each pages, if contractor failed to submitted then payment of the same will not paid. |
