Name of Work:- A/R & M/O Road under SD-IV, APWD, Car Nicobar during 2025-26 Sub Work:- Topographic and Hydrographic Survey including Grain Size Analysis of Seabed Materials at Sea Erosion Sites of Tee Top and Malacca Beach, Car Nicobar required for the Desk Studies for the Design of Coastal Protection Works under CD, APWD, Car Nicobar.

Conducting a comprehensive survey of the sea erosion site at Malacca beach near Murugan Temple, Car Nicobar, involving both topographic and hydrographic investigations to support the design of coastal protection measures. The topographic survey [For an area of 700.00m (L) x 100.00m (W)] using Total Station shall map key site features such as houses, roads, drains, trees, and existing protection structures and a hydrographic survey using necessary equipments like vessel equipped with ECHO Sounder, Tide Gauges, Tidal Current meter etc. [For an area of 700.00m (L) x 150.00m (W)] shall cover beach profiling with respect to chart datum and collect essential marine data including wave heights, wave periods, wave directions, tides, tidal currents, and other relevant parameters. Seabed/beach material samples shall be collected from at least six suitably spaced locations for grain size analysis. All surveyed data shall be compiled, integrated into a single layout plan showing both topographic and hydrographic details, and submitted in a final structured report i/c photography of the surveying activities carried out to enable the CWPRS desk study, inclusive of all overheads and costs etc all complete as per the directions of Engineer In Charge.
