Laying, jointing & testing of GMS (plan ended pipe) with circumfrential 94% butt welded joints and 6% for flange joint with MS flanges of following dia by electrical arc welding with minimum two layers capable to withstand required test pressure (minimum welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers, all short pieces, bends of required degree as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 15 pipe lengths or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge dully welded in three layers (two for outer & one on inner side) and all other operation such as cutting, cleaning, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc, lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level i/c flushing, cleaning, and hydraulic testing complete in all respect & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately). The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes and all the specials (if damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made from the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing and Supplying of double flanged Cast Iron Sluice Valve of following dia Kirloskar/Leader Make (with hand wheel) PN-1.6 as per IS Code-14846-2000 latest upto date ammendments standard make with bols, nuts, rubber insertion etc. (The tail pieces if required shall be measured & paid for separately) complete in all respect as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within all leads and lifts.
