Dismantle the top cone of W5 and clean the choked tubes.Arrange necessary tools and tackles required for the work. Make required site arrangements like scaffolding etc. Cut the necessary ducts required for removal of top cone of W5. Necessary temporary supports shall be provided for supporting the duct before cutting. Bellows shall be clamped properly before cutting the ducts. Unwanted associated structurals / any structural which are to be dismantled for smooth operation of the work shall also be dismantled as per instructions. After removal of required ducts, top cone of existing W5 shall be cut, lifted and shifted to safe location. Make necessary pads out of BQ plate for welding the top cone and all the dismantled ducts. The welding joints of all the ducts shall be made free from any strain and ovality. All welding joints shall be ground properly. The temporary supports provided shall be removed and dismantled associated structures shall be fixed back after completing the work. Necessary hook with pad plate, as per standards shall be welded on each piece (duct) to facilitate the dismantling and erection at high altitude. After completing the work, clear the site, unused plates and structurals shall be neatly stacked in area earmarked, scrap shall be collected in area earmarked.Cleaning of tubes in not in the scope of this contract.
