If de-sludging work is executed through manpower deployed by the contractor, Mechanical system shall also be put into work to drain the raw water from the well simulteniously so as not to hamper sewage supply system and no extra cost shall be paid on account of this.(iv) Contractor shall be responsible for testing of any hazarduous gas inside the well or collection chambers before starting work at site. Neutralization of such harmeful and hazarduous gases like Methane, Carbon Dioxide and Ammonia etc shall be the responsibility of contractor and department shall not be responsible for any untoward or fatal incidence at site due to any negligence done by contractor at site.(v) Cost of all T&P required for de-sludging work of sewage system, First Aid, Safety measures and insurance of employee deputed by the contractor shall include in unit rate quoted by the contractor.(vi) Contractor will arrange extra pipes of suitable dia/size upto any distance, in case roads/approach is not feasible for super sucker mahine or collection tanks to reach the nearest site of sewage well and no extra cost shall be paid to contractor on account of this.(vii) If contractor is willing to execute work manually, adequate manpower shall be deployed by the contractor along with necessary T&P and saftey equipments. Manpower deployed by the contractor shall be professionally sound and experienced in concerned field.(viii) Contractor will repair all infraustructure of sewage installation, if damaged during cleaning or de-sludging work and no extra cost shall be paid to contractor on account of this.(ix) After completion of de-sludging or cleaning of deposited sludge of any thickness, contarctor will have to physically show the sludge less clear bottom surfce of collection well by draining out all raw water/ diverting sewage supply at site upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
