| 13 | Supplying and installation of Synthetic Hockey Turf having minimum 13mm pile height of global category surface with minimum 15mm cast in-situ shock pad on prepared bituminous surface maintaining International Hockey Federation (FIH) specifications. The FIHapproved Synthetic Hockey Turf should be impermeable to water, UV protected which can withstand the toughest constant stresses hockey. The Synthetic Turf should be of suitable colour approved by FIH as per direction of the Engineer-inCharge with appropriate border all conforming to FIH specifications. After satisfactory completion of the work, Global Category FIH Certificate is to be submitted.NOTE: 1. The agency should be in the approved list of FIH preferred builders and have supplied and installed at least 02 FIH Certified Global Category Hockey Field in India with the same proposed product/brand including complete subbase during the last 03 years in their individual capacity and not as Joint Venture.2. | 14 | Providing, installing and testing of field irrigation system POP up type / 8 nozzle the irrigation system should be capable of applying the required water over the field in a time not exceeding 10 minutes as per norms of FIH (i.e. for a hockey turf water applied should be 1.5mm to 2 mm per irrigation cycle) there should be no sprinklers located within the field of play or withing 2 m of an end line or 1 m of a side line. When closed, the covers of the sprinklers should sit flush with the surrounding hockey turf, so they do not form a trip point, or cause balls hitting them to lift from the playing surface. the system should be based on an automatically controlled irrigation system capable of applying the required watering over the field in a time not exceeding 10 minutes. the pop-up sprinklers (or rain-guns) should be fitted with 90◦ or 180◦ sectoring capability Sprinklers should be individually controlled to allow them to operate individually or in matched arc pairs. The design of the irrigation system should consider prevailing wind directions and minimise water spray dift onto spectators. Application rates should be adjusted by varying the run time of the sprinklers and the control panel should be capable of operating in minutes and seconds. each application cycle should ensure the entire playing area and surrounds are watered. the control panel should the following cycles rate shall be inclusive of providing PE pipe of suitable pressure, outer dia of suitable size to deliver water at required capacity, pop up type sprinkers, 3 phase motor of 50 HP (crompton, kirloskar, grunfos) disc type prefilters of suitable capacity, full cycle 8-10 minutes.
