| 8 | Providing and carrying out Advanced Rodent Management (RODEX Treatment) for effective control of rats and mice, using approved and registered rodenticides, designed with due consideration to human safety. The treatment shall be based on the type of rodent species, extent of infestation, and spread of infestation, complete rodent control.The treatment shall include a combination of baiting, trapping, and proofing methods. Proofing against rodent entry shall be carried out by the department/client as per recommendations. Hit bait (Bromadiolone 0.025%), a single-dose anticoagulant rodenticide, shall be used. The bait shall be placed at strategic locations in specially prepared, tamper-resistant bait stations, with lock-and-key arrangements wherever required, complete in all respects and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). | 9 | Providing and carrying out cockroach control treatment using new-generation Fipronil-based gel, a highly effective and safe insecticide, applied by trained IMSS experts. The gel shall act through ingestion and contact, creating a cascade/domino effect for complete colony elimination with faster visible results. The treatment shall be applied at harbourages, cracks, crevices, and dark and dry areas, and in locations not regularly washed with water. The gel is non-volatile and shall not release airborne active ingredients, thereby minimizing exposure to applicators, occupants, and the environment. | 10 | Providing and carrying out anti-termite treatment using TERMIN-8 technology by creating a continuous and undetectable chemical barrier around the building. The treatment shall comprise drilling holes at the junction of floor and wall, soaking the treated area with approved termiticide, and sealing the holes to prevent termite entry.The treatment shall include drilling holes of 12 mm diameter and 4–6 inches depth at the floor–wall junction at a spacing of 1 to 1½ feet, filling the holes with termiticide solution, and sealing them with chalk powder and white cement, complete in all respects.The treatment shall be carried out intensively for ground floor as well as upper floors, considering that termites enter through the ground and move upward and sideways in search of food. In addition, the treatment shall be extended to woodwork, including spraying inside electric junction boxes and false ceilings, to ensure long-term protection against future termite infestation.The treatment shall be executed using approved chemicals, complete with all materials, labour, tools, equipment, safety measures, and incidentals, as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) (Analysed rate) |
