| 2 | Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Replacement of heavy-duty, reversible-type “Outdoor Transit Grade\\" with IP55 protection and corrosion-resistant treatment escalators designed for commercial applications suitable for operation 24X7. Each escalator shall have a minimum handling capacity of 9,000 persons per hour and an operating speed of 0.5 m/sec. The unit shall be provided with a step width of 1000 mm, with four flat steps at both the upper and lower landings, and an inclination of 30 degrees. The floor-to-floor rise shall be 6 metres, and the system shall operate on 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz AC supply, incorporating auto start/stop functionality for energy efficiency. All escalators shall conform to IS 4591:2020 and EN 115-1 standards and shall have an approximate standard length of 17500 mm (\\"The total length and support-to-support distance must be customized based on the mandatory site survey to match existing civil supports.\\"). The equipment shall be suitable for commercial heavy-duty load conditions. The balustrades and external visible surfaces shall be of stainless steel ( SS-316 grade) height of balustrades not less than of 950 mm, and the handrail shall be of standard approved material in black color. The inner and outer decking, as well as the skirting panels, shall be of SS-304 grade hairline finish, and skirt brush deflectors with with integrated brush deflectors holders shall be provided for passenger safety......................Cont.......................................... |
| 3 | The escalator shall be equipped with single-piece die-cast aluminum steps in natural aluminum finish. Step demarcation shall be of high-quality ABS yellow, securely fixed without screws, non-flammable, oil-resistant, and highly durable. The comb segments shall be of natural aluminum, and the front plate shall be of black engineering plastic. The exterior wall panels shall also be of stainless steel not below SS-316 grade.The truss structure shall be fabricated using C & L profiles and finished with hot-dip galvanization or an additional protective coating. The escalator shall meet a maximum load deflection ratio of 1:1000 of the horizontal distance between the supports. The manufacturer shall provide a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Report. The mechanical assembly shall include a 3-phase, 4-pole motor, Helical-gear type gearbox, friction-drive handrail mechanism with pressure rollers, band brake, duplex drive chain, and precision step chain with heat-treated pins and PU rollers.The control system shall be a dual-microprocessor-based controller capable of self-diagnostics, responding to commands promptly and performing speed monitoring tests every 5 seconds. The controller cabinet shall be housed within the truss made from hot-dip galvanized and of marine-grade paint and rated IP54, while the motor protection shall be rated IP55 and IP65 for external sensors (like the emergency stop and handrail entry sensors). Complete with Automatic Pit Pump with an Oil-Water Separator and Cooling Fan for the controller cabinet and a Heating element for the motor to prevent condensation during monsoon/winter nights. All electrical cabling shall be of FRLS PVC-insulated type, suitable for outdoor escalator applications. |

| 6 | Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick, including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long, etc., with charcoal/ coke and salt as required. |
| 7 | Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode, including connection with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer, excavation and re-filling etc. as required. |
