1	Maintenance and Servicing of 500KVA DG set of any make by the authorised technician/ service engineer of OEM or their authorised service dealer, checking the mechanical and electrical healthiness of the diesel engine and alternator, servicing of the DG set including cleaning & replacement of air filter, changing of filter and lubricating oil filter, rubber hoses, worm drive clamps, nuts & bolts, draining out unserviceable engine oil from engine and refill with new engine oil, cleaning all sludge/ deposits in the oil sump and removed off the site as per schedule, minor adjustment of control parameters, greasing, tracing out the defects and replacement of defective spares, testing and commissioning including taking out the old unserviceable one to keep the DG set healthy and serviceable required at 250 running hours or six months which ever is earlier as specified and directed. Note:-(i) Spare parts, engine oil will be measured and paid separately as supply only.(ii) In case, any abnormality found in between normal routine inspections, the service personnels must attend the service call urgently within 24hrs.(iii) Apart from these routine servicing, major repair/ replacement if any as decided by Engineer-in-Charge will be measured and paid separately available within the scope of this schedule.(iv) A Log Book indicating the details of all types of repairs and maintenance carried out time to time has to be recorded by the contractor's rep/supervisor will monitorthe serviceability of all the DG Sets and give report to JE (E/M) and AGE (E/M). This register is required to be produced at the time of claiming payment. (v) Replacement spare part shall be as per make of DG sets duly recommended by OEM.
