| 1 | Excavation in foundations and trenches including pipes and pits in all depths etc. in all lifts and in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited)and saturated soils, stacking the excavated earth within all leads and lifts, clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinths, sides of foundations and trenches etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by Engineer-in-charge . |
| 2 | Providing, laying, testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked API confirming to relevent codes & specification its equivalent latest with up to date ammendments of following dia with steel grade API-X-60 having wali thickness & per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code, in random lengths of 5.5 to 6.5 mtr. The pipe's ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding, including the cost of jointing with butt welding confirming to 15 816-1969 or latest as applicable with up to date ammendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make & all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends & other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement i'e carriage in all leads & lifts and as directed by Engineer- Incharge. The pipe shall have's zinc coating inside & outside confirming to IS-4736-1986 or latest with up to date ammendments & shall be engraved with API X-60. The laying shall confirm to BIS 5822-1970 or latest with up to date ammendments Dye-penetration test (DPT) shall be performed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-Incharge (Earth work & cost of MS flanges after 100 meter length shall be measured & paid for seperately) 200 mm dia. |
