| 1 | Removal of slips in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of slips and disposal of cut materials within lift upto 1.50 mtrs. (One decimal fifty metres) and lead upto 1000 mtrs (One thousand metres) as per technical specification 3022.3.5 and 1611 complete, as per directions and entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. | 2 | Cutting in earth work for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/ mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling or wedging out rock (where blasting is required ) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels shown drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge complete in conformity with the requirements of MORD Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transporting of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 47.00 cubic metres quantity at the rate of Rs. 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metres shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases and as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. | 3 | Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of all other structures, graded and compacted to meet requirement, including setting out, true to the lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drawings, including spreading the embankment material with motor –Grader in successive layers of 200mm (two hundred millimeter) uniform thickness, and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) Tonne static weight to meet the requirements of table 300.1 & 300.2 as per MORD technical specification section 300,1600 and as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. | 4 | Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise out during dewatering as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
