Excavation in drains and channel etc in earth work in all kinds of soil such as kankar, moorum shingles conglomerate saturated soil and decomposed soft and hard rock hard rock including including dressing of sides and beds, disposing of excavated earth with all leads, lifts disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed and then returning the stacked soil into foundation and trenches etc. including ramming and consolidating the same whereever required with all leads, lifts and including jungle clearance and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked G.I pipe conforming to BIS 1239-1990 (Part-1) & specifications or latest with upto date amendments of following dia (heavy class) having wall thickness and per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random lengths of 5.5 to 6.5 mtr. The pipes ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding including the cost of jointing with butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS: 2712-1998 including 99% butt welded joints. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof, tail pieces, tees, bends and other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement including carriage in all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All the joints shall be butt welded except 1% , joints which shall be flanged with flanges of suitable flange table. The laying shall conform to BIS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects or latest with upto date amendments to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and welding M.S. plate flanges at suitable point, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) as per IS:6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) and welding of MS Flanges with G.I. Pipes/ MSERW pipes in three layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of G.I. Pipes/ MSERW Pipes to be measured and paid for separately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrode as per IS : 814-1991 and required number of nuts & bolts conforming to IS: 1364. The thickness of gasket not less than 3.00mm conforming to IS : 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within all leads and lifts.
