Cleaning and sweeping of roads and berms by truck-mounted Mechanical Road Sweeping Machine (MRSM) having dry and wet sweeping modes, equipped with following specifications:(i) Suction head of minimum 2030 mm width.(ii) Main broom ranging from 360-400 mm dia and 1200-1900 mm length(iii) Side brooms 600-1000 mm dia, (iv) Minimum effective sweeping width 2850–3300 mm.(v) Dust/debris collection hopper capacity 6–7 cubic metre(vi) Water tank capacity 500–1000 litres with pressurized water spraying arrangement at front spray bar, side brushes, suction head, hopper and handheld suction wand (minimum discharge 5 LPM)(vii) GPS-enabled electrical system and automatic videography provision linked with working lights/system.The Hire Charges of MRSM includes the deployment of machine with operator, helper, fuel, lubricants, DEF, consumables, maintenance, T&P such as broom,safety gear for staff, sweeping, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of swept dust/debris to nearest MCD dustbin or approved dumping site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The item rate includes the submission of GPS-based geo-tagged photographs/video evidence before and after cleaning on daily basis and compliance with all directions of Engineer-in-Charge and applicable guidelines of NGT , CPCB and CAQM. No payment shall be released where the requisite GPS-enabled photographic evidence is not submitted or found unsatisfactory.NOTE: Nothing extra shall be paid on account of dumping charges, municipal penalties, challans, idle time, or deployment timing by the department and these charges shall be borne by the agency itself. The work shall be executed complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning and sweeping of footpaths, CC path/cycletrack, bell mouths including collection of garbage, wild grass/bushes, rubbish, silt, waste material dead/Pet animals/ malba etc. including loading, unloading and final disposal of the same at dhalav at site by engaging environmental assistants and supervisiors as per applicable norms, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge across all roads as detailed in NIT with all the necessary tools, plants & equipments required at site (no separate payment will be done for any tools, plants & equipments deployed by the agency).

Note:1. If the work is found unsatisfactory or reported that the required area has not been cleaned in respect to Item-1 & 2, penalty double the persqm. rate shall be imposed on agency and recovered from the bill.2. Contractor shall follow the relevant NGT/DPCC/CAQM orders and if any fine/penalty/challan is imposed by any Govt. agency the cost of same shall be borne by the contractor.3. The contract may be partially or fully foreclosed in case of transfer of services to local bodies and no claim in lieu of this foreclosure shall be entertained by the department.
