| 2 | Material and Labour for cleaning of septic tanks/pits of any capacity at various locations of APS Dagshai by removing of sludge water/ night soil/ silt/solid waste material etc i.e complete cleaning through sewer suction machine (Honey sucker truck, chasis mounted type with minimum capacity of 4000 ltrs) including cost of fuel, lubricant, driver, helper and labour required as per site requirement alongwith Honey sucker vehicle and disposing the same out side of Defence land as per existing rules/policies/guidelines issued by Municipal corporation, Solan or Himachal Pradesh Government.Note :- (i) No extra cost will be provided for any distance travelled by the honey sucker truck for disposal of each load from septic tank to sewerage disposal facility.(ii) Contractor shall arrange heavy duty sump pumps for desludging septic tanks (which are away from road or inaccessible) directly into honey sucker truck with suitable length of hoses. |

Item No. 76.00 :-The location/ building/complex where work is to be carried out consist of the following:-(a) All Academic Blocks (b) All Staff Quarters (c) All Hostels (d) Office Accns (e) Students Mess and KitchenNotes :-(i) The Contractor shall employ a supervisor. The supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily to give feed back and also to receive day to day complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract.(ii) The supervisor shall engage skilled staff, labours and T&P as per nature of complaint recieved or site requirement.(iii) For any default/delay in attending the complaints recovery shall be effected as per contract conditions provided here-in-after.(iv) Supervisor engaged by the contractor shall take all necessary preventative safety measures and adequate precautions to avoid any health hazard and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence. |
