Cost of manpower for dismantling of the Front Suspension cylinder assembly. Steam cleaning of the cylinder barrel, piston rod and all other parts. Carry out pre-inspection and recording data for the preparation of visual & dimensional inspection report, Remove the tube and gland and steam cleaning the housing. Mount the cylinder housing on suitable lathe. Alignment of the centerline of the housing bore to the centerline of lathe. Remove all the seal lands. Fill the machined bore with the welding material as per specifications. Machine the wear ring, the buffer seal and the wiper seal grooves according to the dimensions as per housing assembly of the standards. Remove all sharp edges after machining the grooves. Buffing the machined area. Thoroughly clean the front suspension cylinder mounting flange for inspection including contractor’s profit and any other cost.

Cost of manpower for De-chroming of piston rod to remove existing chrome plating. Pre-grinding of the piston rod surface to remove dent marks, if any. Hard chrome plating of the pre-ground surface of piston rod by required thickness to achieve size and hardness. Hydrogen de-embrittlement of the chrome plated surface to remove trapped hydrogen. Finish grinding of the hard chrome plated diameter. Rectification of thread on piston rod. Mount the head on Lathe machine to make proper cuts. Fill the head with welding material. The head will be preheated and welded and machine the head as per dimension. Replacement of old seals with new seals. Assembling of the cylinder with seal kits and painting including Contractor’s profit and any other cost.
