Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces by air compressor to remove all loose dust/dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen grade Vg-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and laying bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (Gde-II), 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.Note: (i) The mix shall be mixed in hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver only.(ii) The mix shall be prepared by designing through job mix formula all as specified from Govt. engg college / Govt approved lab/HBTI.(iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete will be comprising of 2% filler material (OPC 43 grade cement). (v) Cost of testing changes, material & transportation for job mix formula shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted..

Scarifying or picking gravelled,macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50mm but n exc 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM inone layers each 75mm thick, with coarse aggregates granite trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient materials and camber required.

M&L premixed bituminious macadam using 4% binder paving bitumen laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber to be used as correction layer including priming/tack coat with VG-10@10 Kg/10 Sqm of area complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes depth not exc. 30 mm, area n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm (using mechanical sprayers only) and putting in bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8-12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying thermoplastic reflective paint as in road marking 2 mm thick single coat as in centre line or edge line road marking of n.exc 150 mm width using HOT MARK thermoplastic paint (Hot application) white by indigenous modem propelled road marking method as directed including all ingredients such as binder glass beads Titanium-dioxide calcium carbonate linter fillers including spraying of glass beads instructions complete all as specified and directed.
