Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in all kinds of earth work such as spade work, pick work, jumper work saturated /un saturated soil blasting work and chiseling/wedging out of rocks where blasting work prohibited up to all depth and lifts including pumping and bailing out water where ever required stacking the excavated earth not more than 3mtrs.clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm.layers when required into the plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated material within all leads and lifts, useful material available from excavation to be properly stacked and handed over free of cost to the department as per direction of the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing Laying, jointing and testing in trenches galvanized mild steel screwed and socketed /flanged pipes of following diameter and class, tube fittings in trenches i/c carriage of pipes from Sub-Divisional Store to site of work,(Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately) complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying and binding ( By way of circumferental butt welding by electrical arc welding ) and testing of galvanised mild steel tube G.I pipe of following Dia. Confirming to BIS 1239-2001 ( Latest with upto date ammendements having wall thickness as per code with bevelled / Plain ends in a random length of 4 to 7 Mtrs. including mfg. reducers/ tapers all the pieces , bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tube. The laying of will includes all operation such as Cutting , welding , jointing , fabrication of bends , tee etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing and cleaning anad hydrullic testing complete in all respectto the satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge. the fabricated bend shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia. of ppe . the dameged portion of the pipe end special made form the parent tube during welding or otherwised shall be provided anti corrossive treatment by applying two coats of anti corrossive bitumens paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C- 203 -1978. the welding electric shall be Aas per IS 814 of advani OerIkon / L&T or ISI markd make . The rate also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning , hydraullic testing complete to the best satisfication and direction of Enginner in Charge with in alll leads and lifts .( Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separtely.
