escription of items Excavation in foundation trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths in all classification of earthwork such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including balling or pumping out water, blastingsoft /hard rock or chieselling soft/ hard rock where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimmingand dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including, shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering, wherever required, stacking the useable and unuseable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes returing the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm (fiften centimeter )ayers including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/un-useable materials as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of un-metalled surface to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc.complete nail respect within all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing circumferencial butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to following dia & class pipes, welded in requisite number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS-816-1969 specifications, by using wolding electrodes of 2.5 mm to 6.3 mm of Advani oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all resp[ects, including manual/mechnical handing of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge..
