M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compresser to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bituminous primer at 5 kg/ per 10sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&Lfor premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG-30) , binder content 4% by weight of total mix for repair to road depression, pot holes etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Preparation of surface and priming /tack coat shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Hot Mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of agregates and binder shall be laid in single layer with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed.(iii) The design mix shall be carried out from zonal lab/Govt Engg college/IIT/NIT/CTL or any E-in-C/MES approved lab as approved by GE before incorporation in work.
