Repair to pot holes and removal of loose material, trimming of sides, cleaning of surface by providing tack coat with bitumen emulsion, 20 mm thick pre-mix carpet using catonic bitumen emulsion @ 21.5 kg per 10 sqm and seal coat type B with bitumen emulsion @ 10kgper 10 sqm as per technical specification and compacting with three wheeled 80-100 kN Static Roller.

Prime Coat Over WMM/WBM(i) Providing and applying primer coat with catonic bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 to 1.00 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of specifications

Providing and applying tack coat with low viscosity bitumen of VG 10 grade using bitumen pressure sprayer on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications.(i) @ 0.25 kg per sqm (normal bituminous surfaces)

Open - Graded Premix SurfacingProviding, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or cut-back or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tone capacity, finished to required level and grades all complete as per clause 510 of specification. (i) Case - I: Mechanical method using Penetration gradeBitumen VG 30 and HMP of appropriate capacity notless than 75 tones/hour.

Close Graded Premix Surfacing/Mixed Seal Surfacing (Mechanical means using HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tones /hour.) Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-A) or 13.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-B) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a Smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity & finishing to required level and grade all complete as per clause 508 of specifications. with 60/70 butumen (VG-30)ii) Type B

Construction of Shoulders with approved material/selected soil i/c excavation all lifts & leads i/c rading to required slope & camber of 4% and compacting on OMC using vibratory roller of 80 to 100 kN static weight. Field compaction shall be done in corresponding layers of carriage way thickness and meet the requirements of MDD to achieve compaction (98% -100%) as per relevant clause of 408.A Hard Shoulders (CBR value >12)
