| 50 | M&L for attending external electric complaints by opening / disconnecting the electrical connection of defective / burnt out underground LT cable of any size & any core from main switch / DB / junction box / LT panel / L T O/H line etc. and taking out the required length of cable from existing loop and remove/ cut the defective cable,replace the same with new cable as per existing size including providing necessary thimbles / connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch / DB / Junction box / LT panel / OH line etc. and make electic connection as functionable in all repspects including testing on completion all as specified and directed. Note:- (A) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of the following: (i) Necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling and removing extra soil. (ii) Existing bricks, sand,GI protection pipe etc. shall be removed carefully and stacks neatly near site and same shall be re- laid after attending fault/defect. (iii) Distrubed surface of road, floor etc. shall be make good to match with existing surface. (iv) Required numbers of electrician and helper shall be deployed for attending complaints regulerly on daily basis and contractor shall collect the complaints details from complaint cell of AGE E/M No.1 and same shall be rectified/ attanded within an hour and report shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge or their authorised representative.(B) Please note that payment shall be made to contractor one time only for this items. if any fault/ default occured again on the same location/ DB/junction box/panel during currency of contract, the same shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. in terms of condition 46 of IAFW of genral condition of contracts. (C) Additional bricks,sand,GI pipe etc. as required for cable protection and cushioning shall be measured and paid separetely under relevent item. |
