(a) The surface to be treated with the chemical shall be made free of loose materials and should be properly cleaned. (b) Any cracks shall be filled with crack seal of approved brand as per the manufacturer's specification. (d) The surface so prepared after filling of cracks if any shall be applied with self-priming coat of damp proof (diluted as per manufacture specification. (e) After applying the damp proof primer apply the two coats of water proofing membrane chemical fibre reinforced elastomeric water proofing liquid of approved brand as per the manufacturer's specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The second coat shall be applied after 4-6 hours after the application of first coat. Note : (i) The rate includes all the cost of material and labour involved in the above operation except filling of cracks which will be paid seperately under relevant item. (ii)Testing of the treated surace shall be done for leak-proof condition by ponding the surface, payment shall be made after satisfactory leakage seal by the Engineer in charge. |

| 13 | Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspectionof work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. |
