Providing and making saw cut transverse construction /contraction joint as per approved drawing provided at a maximum distance of 4.5 m including the cost of covering of dowel bars with the plastic sheath for at least 60% of the length from one end. Initially 3 to 4 mm wide cut shall be made after 1 to 2 days up to 1/3rd depth of slab and including cost of scalingtemporarily with a jute rope. At the time of sealing of the joint temporary seal shall be taken out and 5 mm wide grove shall bemake up to a depth of 5 mm. Before sealing the joint temporary with a jute rope. At the time of sealing temporarily seal shall betaken out and 10 and 12 mm. Before sealing the joint 5 mm thick compressible de-boding strips with paper back shall beinserted to the bottom of the groove. The groove shall be filled with poly sulphide/silicon sealant. The sealant shall be applied slightly at a lower level than the slab with a tolerance of 24 mm complete in all respect`
