| 1 | Excavation in foundation treanches (Pipe & Pits) up to all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work,jumper work,saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water,blasting soft /hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming & dressing of sides leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring/strutting planking,timbering & dewatering wherever required stacking the usable & unusable material/soil separately & after laying,jointing & testing of pipes,returning the useable soil in trenches in 15cm layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by raming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration of unmetalled surface to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic,night signals,fixing caution boards,crossing over trenches for access to houses,fencing etc.completein all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Dismentalling and disjointing of MSERW pipe 250mm dia and fitting ( Earth work to be measured & paid for separately) in trenches complete 250mm dia complete in all respect as per the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. |
| 3 | Providing, laying, jointing & testing of GMSERW. Pipe ( ZINK COATED)/ GI pipe of following diameters conforming to IS 3183-2007 (of required grade) with circumferential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding (welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) having wall thickness as per specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and fabrication of reducer/tapers, all short pieces etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also endued flanged joints duly welded in three layers (Two inner & one outer) where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. ( Earth work in trench will be paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, draining and hydraulic testing tail piece, reducers bend, tees, scour valves complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The welding electrode shall be as per IS: 814 of Advani Oeriikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipe and all the specials( If damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made from the parent tube shall be provided. The rate also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, draining & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welding joints, complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts (94% butt welding joints & 6 % flanged joints) |
